The RAK Mall proudly hosted the inaugural RAK Mall Cup badminton tournament, along with Sports Bash from 26th to 28th July, marking a significant milestone in the mall’s vibrant community events calendar. The tournament saw enthusiastic participation from over 200 players from various Emirates in UAE, across four competitive categories: Single Women’s, 48+ Category, Men’s Doubles, and Men’s Singles.
Spectators and participants alike were thrilled by the electrifying atmosphere and the high level of competition. The event was a resounding success, with cheers and happy faces filling the mall, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
The RAK Mall Cup was held in association with Yonex, the prestigious sports brand known for its commitment to badminton excellence. The partnership with Yonex ensured top-quality equipment and support, adding to the professionalism and appeal of the tournament.
Coinciding with the Olympics in Paris 2024, the RAK Mall Cup celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship and athleticism. The mall also organized a dynamic sports bash, featuring a variety of fun games and activities for the entire family. Soccer, football games, and other interactive sports entertained children and adults alike, making it a true community event.
