a global leader in tower crane manufacturing, has appointed UAE-based Omran Group as its agent in the United Arab Emirates to handle sales, rentals, and technical support. The agreement was signed during a ceremony at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, and includes a multi-year equipment supply deal.
This partnership comes amid growing demand, with Zoomlion reporting 30% global growth in 2024, driven by strong markets in the Middle East and Asia. The company also introduced a new generation of AI-powered tower cranes capable of remote control, real-time diagnostics, and minimal human intervention, enhancing safety, lowering costs, and improving operational efficiency.
To date, Zoomlion has produced over 150,000 tower cranes and leads the market in ultra-heavy models used in major infrastructure and bridge projects.
“Our partnership with Omran Group brings our most advanced technologies to the UAE,” said Mr. Huang Jiangping, Executive Vice President of Zoomlion. “We believe AI-driven cranes represent the future of the construction industry.”
Salah Mohammed, CEO of Omran Group, said the alliance would help meet growing local demand. He noted a 10–15% increase in rental prices due to limited availability and rising logistics costs, along with a 10% rise in sales prices linked to inflation in raw materials and the integration of advanced technologies.
Market forecasts indicate continued growth of at least 15% over the next two years, supported by smart construction adoption and large-scale development projects. This strategic partnership positions both companies at the forefront of innovation in the UAE’s construction sector.
